Since 1889, OCMA’s major role has been to protect professional autonomy and to enhance the professional practice of medicine. As one of the largest county associations in California, OCMA is recognized as the voice of organized medicine in the county.

We are in the midst of unprecedented changes in the way we practice. Physicians have been in a constant battle to protect the integrity of our profession. To effectively communicate our ideas, accomplishments, and goals, we must come together and stand as a true united group of professionals. It is imperative that we stay organized.
