As a thank you to our members and as a service to the public, the Orange County Medical Association (OCMA) teams with Orange Coast magazine each May to bring to you a complete list of our practicing members for our county residents to use as a reference guide. The names in this guide appear as printed in OCMA’s own membership directory and include the physician’s primary office address, phone number and primary specialty.

All county medical associations in California together comprise the California Medical Association (CMA) based in Sacramento. Therefore, doctors who join OCMA simultaneously join CMA. Together, our physician members of all specialties from throughout the county and state have joined forces to fight for the greater good of patients. To that end, OCMA/CMA:

· Offers tools needed to improve the practice of medicine, resulting in enhanced quality of care for patients.

· Advocates for patients and doctors on the important issue of increasing access to care.

· Communicates with legislators to foster greater awareness of healthcare issues.

· Works with government officials to demand reasonable insurance premiums as well as the right to have services approved rather than denied after the fact.

These are just a few of the many ways in which OCMA/CMA plays a central role at the county and state levels. Our physician members feel these issues are critical to the future practice of medicine as is the preservation of the core principle in health care – the doctor and patient relationship. Essentially, your health care is our health care.

We encourage you to see if your physician is a member of Orange County Medical Association/California Medical Association. If not, please encourage him/her to join to help us in our continuing efforts to keep healthcare at its best. Imagine what we could do on behalf of patients and physicians if all Orange County doctors were OCMA/CMA members. It is true that “Together We Are Stronger”.
